About the event

For many years, the call for compassionate cultures of perinatal care have been loud and clear in policy, public and practice. Meanwhile, independent inquiries continue to report the scale of the problem. The demand for "more compassion" in perinatal care oversimplifies the task.


In this webinar we explore a framework for fostering cultures of compassion and collaboration in neonatal teams: the ProSocial approach. Drawing on the fields of evolutionary psychology, economic anthropology and the compassionate mind approach, ProSocial provides us with a set of tools for navigating the shared agreements that can foster more compassionate and accountable cultures of collaboration in neonatal care.


This webinar, presented by Davy Evans with special guest Rebecca Chilvers, will provide new ways to think and act: applying theory into practice.
