Family integrated care webinars
A "Family Integrated" approach to perinatal care has been shown to have many benefits to babies, families and teams. This series of webinars shared how Family Integrated Care (FICare) can become a transformative, relationally focused approach to all aspects of care, rather than a list of tasks for staff to complete.
We examined the underlying approach of FICare, putting connected, compassionate, collaborative relationships at its core. We explored a deep understanding of what makes FICare work well, and discussed practical applications including tools and skills that can be used across all disciplines of perinatal care.
Intended audience: the whole perinatal MDT.

Webinar - Relational Practice: A Foundation for FICare

Webinar - What matters to you: connecting with values in FICare
Caring for and developing yourself webinars
Working in perinatal care in the 2020s presents both great challenges and opportunities for our wellbeing. Never has the impact of this work been so keenly felt and so widely acknowledged. At the same time, conversations about what can help sustain us are starting to open up too. This series of webinars explored some of the causes of all this pain, and some tools that can help us tolerate and transform it.
In this series of webinars we examined many of the factors that impact on our wellbeing, from aspects of the system itself, to trickier parts of our own contribution, as human beings with human brains and bodies. We shared tools to help navigate these challenges and tap into the relational resources in and around you.
Intended audience: anyone working in neonatal, maternity, perinatal or paediatric care.

Webinar - Why does it hurt so much? The challenges of working in neonatal care

Webinar - The flows of compassion: a framework for taking care of ourselves in this work
Psychological professionals' webinars
This series of webinars will be of interest to psychological professionals who want to develop the relational aspects of their work in neonatal care. We covered a broad range of topics, keeping connected, compassionate, collaborative relationships at the core.
We shared insights and practical ideas for how we have effectively applied relational ways of working to our psychological interventions in neonatal care. These webinars explored relational approaches at individual, dyadic and more complex system-wide levels. We hope this will be of use to those new to this area of work and those who have been working in neonates for longer, too.
Intended audience: psychological professionals working in neonatal, maternity, perinatal or paediatric care.

Webinar - Mentalising in Neonatal Care: Making sense of ourselves and each other

Webinar - Nurturing ProSocial cultures of compassionate care on the neonatal unit
