What matters to you: connecting with values in FICare

Moving from "What is the matter with you?" to "What matters to you?"

Values are the compass that guide us in our decisions, actions and relationships. When we feel stuck or adrift, connecting with what really matters to us - our values - can renew our sense of direction and purpose, even when hope feels far away.

This is true for families in perinatal care, and those staff and teams who provide that care.

We will explore ways to connect with our own values as professionals, and with those of the families for whom we care, as a means of fostering close, connected and collaborative relationships. We will also discuss how we can navigate relationships when different values come into conflict.
