About the event

Many of the parents who seek psychological support on the neonatal unit do so with their partner, as a couple. For neonatal psychological professionals, couples work brings unique challenges and opportunities, and holding the "couple mindset" is crucial. Traditional modes of Couples Therapy do not always apply neatly to this work.

In this webinar we explore how to work therapeutically with couples in neonatal care. Topics will include supporting couples to communicate effectively, recognise and respond to each other's emotional needs, participate in decision making, navigate changes and transitions in their relationship, and more.

This webinar, presented by Ruth Butterworth with special guest Rebecca Chilvers, will provide new ways to think and act: applying theory into practice.

We will be hosting and recording the webinar on Zoom. Ticket holders will receive a link to the Zoom call up to a week prior to the webinar time. Ticket purchase will include…
